Tokai Vintage Japanese LS-50 Single Cutaway 1984 Aged Goldtop w/ OHSC

Here is a really nice vintage 1984 Japanese Tokai LS-50 Love Rock Les Paul Goldtop. Vintage Tokai (’78-’85) are our absolute favourite lawsuit style Japanese single-cuts. This one is a beaut, with a really nice goldtop (a lot harder to find than the usual clownbursts you see from this period). It’s in fine vintage condition with no mods, breaks, repairs etc. Lovely resonant old wood. Straight neck with a thinner 60's profile carve, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Great non-chambered weight at 4kg. The original Zebra PAF humbucker clones sound fantastic. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. It has some wear as you’d expect for four decades, with bumps, scuffs and scratches etc but nothing bad has ever happened to it. No pickguard, but at some point one has been fitted. It comes with an original plated 'Lifton' style Tokai Reborn HSC which is worn with the hinge in need of attention, but in fine working condition. A beautifully built 80’s vintage Tokai Les Paul. I’ll let the pics tell the rest of the story.
