Tokai Vintage Japanese Goldstar Sounds 1981 Olympic White w/ Original Case

Here’s a very clean vintage 1981 Japanese Tokai Goldstar Sound Stratocaster. These vintage Goldstars are really well built Strats, and we don’t find many in Olympic White, they are mainly all Sunbursts. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. Nice weight at 3.5kg. It has it's original 'U' stamped pickups and Final Prospec saddles. This superb playing Strat has also had a couple of nice upgrades with USA switch, jack socket and wiring. All professionally done. It has some very light naturally earned playwear and looks freakin’ awesome imo, the white plastics have yellowed, the metal hardware is oxidised and the olympic white body has naturally darkened over the decades. The body has no big paint chips etc which is very unusual for one of these. In fact is is probably the cleanest Goldstar Sound we have had in at Gas Station Guitars. Complete with tremolo arm and original vintage Tokai branded leatherette softcase still with strap, (one side of the front pocket has pulled away).
