Orville by Gibson Les Paul Custom 1991 Translucent Cherry w/ HSC MIJ Japan

From the great ObG Years. Orville by Gibson made some beautiful Japanese Gibson Les Pauls back in the 1990’s, ObG was fully approved and authorised by Gibson USA. The ObG Les Paul Reissues were the top of the range Japanese Orvilles, they all have stock Gibson USA electrics and pickups. However this particular Les Paul is probably the very best ObG Custom we have ever had in the shop, it represents Japanese craftsmanship at its very best. Looks-wise it is stunning. It has a beautifully carved translucent Cherry top. Mahogany body and neck. It weighs in at 4.5kg. In clean condition throughout with just light playwear and no paint chips etc. A couple of scratches here and there some light scuffs etc. But overall very light playwear for coming on 3 decades. It's just case dust you can see on the headstock. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets, there have been NO breaks, repairs or mods. Comes complete with Japanese Lifton style hardcase.
