Vintage Fender Japan FujiGen Domestic 1985 Boxer Stratocaster Torino Red

Here is a very cool vintage mid 1980’s Fender FujiGen built Boxer Stratocaster in Torino red. This cool old domestic only edition was imported from Japan. It’s an A-Serial MIJ built between 1985-’86 (no pencil date on the neck heel of this one). It’s a cool Strat, beautifully simple, very solid and feels great to play. Weight is 3.4kg. It’s taking on a really nice vintage feel. It has an alder body with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The single dragster humbucker sounds great and it has a good medium action. Has some wear as you’d expect for the era, a few dings and paint chips but nothing bad has happened to it. Just good authentic vintage wear, a bit lighter than you’d expect to see on a mid 80’s Fender. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. It looks all factory correct. Complete original Fender Japan booklet and period correct gigbag, very tatty as you'd expect and as these usually are, with pocket zip broken but main case still zips up. A real 80’s warrior. Don’t miss it.
