H S Anderson 1977 Vintage Japanese 'Strider' Olympic White All Original Japan MI
Here we have a rare Japanese 1977 H.S. Anderson 'Strider' Stratocaster. Whilst not in the same ball park for rarity and rarity/value as a 1st issue non-serial 1970's 'Madcat' this is still a fine guitar. It has an ash body with a maple neck and fingerboard w/ skunk stripe and 4-bolt neckplate. It plays beautifully and the old wood feels very resonant. Very clean for one of these, we don't find them much but they usually show a little more ware & tear. Nice weight too at 3.7kg. Very resonant. Three way switching and the Kaiyo Bell pickups sound immense on this thing. Neck is dead straight, truss rod is working fine and years left in the frets. The maple has darkened over the years and looks very cool. There little scuffs and signs of being played but overall clean as mentioned above. A very cool guitar. Complete with gigbag and black tipped them arm. Your chance to get your hands on a vintage H.S Anderson to see what all the fuss is about!
We carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitar, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
