Greco Vintage 1978 Japan FujiGen SA-800WR Cherry Red Finish ES-335 w OHSC & Book

Very rare vintage 1978 Greco SA-800WR (ES 335 Clone) semi-hollow built for Greco at the legendary FujiGen Gakki in Japan. It has a beautiful figured dark Cherry finish, 100% original and complete with OHSC (with key) and mega rare original 1978 Greco booklet. Really nice vibe to this one, easily on par with any vintage 335 you’d find from the big G. It has a great looking rosewood fingerboard (pics) with a three-piece set neck with a 1960's profile carve, neck binding and fret end binding. Neck has a good strong factory volute at the headstock. The original Maxon humbuckers are defined and beefy. Traditional 335 centre block construction with a solid weight of 3.8kg. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine & plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. It’s a great player which has seen some use over the decades and has some finish chips and blemishes. Nothing bad has happened to it. There have been no breaks or repairs. All the metal hardware has taken on a nice dull grey patina adding to the vintage vibe. The binding has yellowed and has the fine checking lines you get with age, but it is all still intact and tight. Complete with what we think is the original hardcase (with original key) and original Greco booklet. A really nice looking and playing 1978 Greco SA-800WR.
