Up for grabs is this stunning looking Gibson ES 335. It’s a vintage 1990 model with a striking highly figured look and vintage feel. The late 80’s early 90’s were very good years for 335’s and this one is truly breath-taking. It plays superbly, is beautifully balanced yet feels very solid and is in full original condition. It has a nice thinner '60's profile neck which feels very comfortable, fast and smooth to play. Build date is November 8th 1990 at Gibson’s Nashville plant, USA. Anyway it is in fine condition a 32 year old guitar. The binding is nice and tight with no cracking. There is no buckle rash on the back. No notable big blemishes or dings anywhere. Just some little scrapes and dimples in the nitrocelluose as you'd expect. The white binding has turned cream and the metal hardware is dull and nicely tarnished. This one is well along the road to being a real vintage looker. The nitro has that glazed look earned over a few decades and some fine finish checking in the nitrocellulose lacquer. Exactly the kind of look Gibson try to replicate on their modern VOS finishes. Neck is dead straight truss rod checked and functioning fine, plenty of life left in the frets, which still have their nibs. The original Classic '57's sound very articulate. Weighs in at 4.2kg. It is complete with its original tan, pink-lined Gibson HSC. Case is functioning fine, latches dulled over the years. I’ll let the pics tell the rest of the story, this is a beautiful 335.

We carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special.  All pictures are of the actual guitars, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
