Gibson Vintage 1978 Les Paul Ebony Standard All Original w/ Docs & OHSC

Here is a very clean vintage 1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Ebony finish. One owner from new. We don't often see them this clean and it is is complete with it's original Norlin docs, hangtags etc. It is also complete with it original Gibson Chainsaw hardcase. It's a beautiful looking Standard with some lovely yellowing of the plastics against the ebony
finish. Not perfect obviously, a few little bumps etc and a little paint nick on the back of the headstock. All factory spec as far as we can tell. Dead straight 3 pce neck, truss rod checked and functioning fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Absolutely no mods, breaks or repairs. No routing, it wasn’t once a Deluxe! Neck somewhere between a ’59-‘60 and low smooth action. Weighs in at 4.4kg, a very good weight for a Norlin. Complete with original red-lined Gibson Chainsaw HSC. Case is functioning fine & in excellent condition. I’ll let the pics tell the rest of the story. One of the great Norlin Standards.
