Gibson Les Paul Standard Hand-Selected & Bookmatched AAA Premium Sunburst 2013

We absolutely love the crazy top on this one! We were lucky enough to get hold of a second of these 120th Anniversary Les Paul Standards with the tone woods hand-selected and book-matched expertly by Dan Williams at Gibson’s Nashville plant. Dan's signature is on the back control cavity.  Most seem to have been sent to Japan for some reason. It has a solid and single-cut mahogany body, made of two pieces of grade A mahogany, which ensures the strong and fat tone Gibsons are renowned for. It has a comfortable profile neck, slightly thinner than a ’59 with locking Grover tuners and is a great weight at 4kg. I've tried to catch the top on it as best I can but it really is amazing and is what initially drew us to this guitar. It's in superb condition throughout and looks to have been pretty much a case queen with no visible blemishes anywhere on the guitar. No pickguard was ever fitted so no pickguard holes. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, and I can see no visible fret wear. No buckle rash on the back, no chips, dings, dimples etc. It comes complete with the original fitted tan hardcase and all case candy. A really special 2014 Gibson Les Paul Standard. 100% original condition.
