Gibson Les Paul Standard Figured Honeyburst w/ OHSC & Docs
Absolutely gorgeous USA Gibson Les Paul Standard Honeyburst from 2018. A superb top on this one which we had hand-selected and imported from Japan. Lots of flame, Gibson could have quite happily used these 2 slabs of maple for a ’59 custom shop historic (R9). It is a very easy guitar to play with a resonant body and nice easy action. It also has a perfect feeling thinner '60’s profile neck and it's a good weight too at 3.6kg. I've tried to catch the flame on it as best I can but it's really is nice and is what initially drew me to this guitar. It been shot though with very thin nitro lacquer so you can actually see the tiny ridges of the maple flame when angling the guitar, very cool. It's in nice condition with no big ugly blemishes, just very light play wear, a little pickguard scuffing, that kind of thing. No dings, paint chips or buckle rash etc. There are absolutely no breaks or repairs. It's had some Seymour Duncan pickups dropped in and also has replacement strap lock pins with clips. It doesn't come with the original pickups. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, and I can see no visible fret wear. Comes complete with tan Gibson HSC, which is in also in great condition. Complete with Gibson docs including unfitted pickguard and poker chip. A really special Les Paul Standard.
