Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003 Beautiful Yamano Order Heritage Cherry Flametop

£2,295.00Price

Up for grabs here is an absolutely gorgeous non-chambered Yamano Ordered Gibson Les Paul Standard Iced Tea from 2006. This is a superb example of a Yamano, with a beautiful heritage cherry flametop. Read up on these if you don’t already know… Yamano had a lot of sway in what guitars they got to pick due to the volume they imported to Japan from the 90’s to the mid 2000’s (a time which also coincided with some of Gibson’s finest work). It is said they had the pick of the bunch when it came to choosing the guitars they took back with them. This is one such guitar. It’s a stunning Standard. It was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant and finished on October 16th 2003, which is just before Gibson introduced chambering on their standards (mid 2006) so yes, it’s non-chambered and again being a Yamano it’s a good weight at 4.2kg. It has a good feeling neck, relatively slim, sitting somewhere between a ’60 & ‘59 profile. There is still plenty of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. There are a few scrapes & light buckle worming (though not through the paint) on the back and a few scrapes & bumps on the top, the most notable being between the pickups, so not mint but no big ugly paint chips etc. This Les Paul is almost 20 years old now so please bear that in mind and do not expect to be Nr Mint! Nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. Comes with its original Gibson HSC which is has some wear & tear around the edges but all latches working fine. Complete with original unused pickguard with all fittings. Pickguard has never been fitted so guitar has no holes. Has Yamano docs including Yamano booklet and specific Yamano ID card with serial printed on. Please note the checklist card was included in the pics by accident and is for another guitar, not this one. This is a rare chance to get your hands on a top quality Yamano hand-selected Les Paul Standard with a really exceptional top, much better than your average Standard. This one made it to Japan, it’s a true Yamano. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. All pictures are of actual guitar, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, Singapore and of course the UK.
