Gibson Les Paul Standard 1999 Honeyburst Yamano Order w/ OHSC & Paperwork
From back when Gibson were building superb Les Pauls, here is an absolutely gorgeous Gibson Les Paul Standard Honeyburst from 1999. This is a beautiful looking Honeyburst with a naturally aged darkened top. It is a Yamano order which would have been hand selected by Yamano representatives to export to Japan when built. Read up on the Yamano Gibsons if you are unaware of them The binding and all the plastics on this beauty have gracefully aged to cream. The neck is a comfortable solid '59 profile. It was built in Gibson’s USA Nashville plant and finished on April 26th 1999, which is before Gibson introduced chambering on their standards so yep, it’s non-chambered. There is still plenty of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. Great solid weight of 4.5kg. Nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. A few bumps and scuffs obviously with some buckle rash on the back. Comes with original Yamano Japanese paperwork and Gibson 90's tan Gibson HSC, which is in working condition if a little roadworn. All latches working. A rare chance to get your hands on a top quality Les Paul Yamano Standard from the great Gibson years.
