Here we have a stunning Slash-era Les Paul Standard. Forget all the new Jessica reissues this is the real deal in exceptional condition. It is from 1992, 5 years after Slash's iconic Standard which he purchased and used during Guns n Roses 'Appetite For Destruction' period. It's ageing beautifully with the sunburst 3-piece top remaining intact and vibrant and all the plastics and binding lightly yellowing. It is turning into a real vintage looker. Comfortable '59 profile neck carve. Heaps of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is dead straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. Weight is very light for this period at 4.2kg. Complete with its original humbuckers. Not mint, obviously, but nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. Some light playwear but in excellent condition for the period. It comes complete with its original tan Gibson case with pink silk shroud. All latches and combo lock working fine. It also has its original 1992 Gibson booklet, tool and pickguard. A rare opportunity to grab an amazing looking vintage 1992 Standard from the early Jessica days. Don’t miss this one.
