Gibson Les Paul Standard 1989 Slash-Era Tobacco Burst w/ OHSC & Sales Card
Here we have a stunning Slash-era Les Paul Standard. This Gibson was built just two years after Slash's iconic Standard 'Jessica' which he purchased and used during Guns n Roses 'Appetite For Destruction' period. It's ageing beautifully with the tobacco sunburst 3-piece top darkening and all the plastics and binding yellowing. It is turning into a real vintage looker. Heaps of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is dead straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. Weight is 4.4kg. Complete with its original Bill Lawrence humbuckers. Not mint, obviously, but nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. There are a few bumps & scuffs etc, a couple of marks on the binding where it has sat in a stand, but nothing harsh at all. It comes complete with its original Gibson case with all latches and combo lock working. It also has its original 1989 Gibson sales leaflet. A rare opportunity to grab an amazing looking vintage 1989 Standard. Don’t miss this one.
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
