Gibson Les Paul Custom 3-Pickup Black Beauty 35th Anniversary 1989 Yamano Ebony
Here we have a 100% original Gibson Les Paul Custom 3-Pickup Black Beauty in Ebony finish made in 1989 with original hardshell case and Yamano case candy. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a double-bound carved mahogany top, mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard. Equipped with a 3 Gibson Patent number stamped humbuckers controlled by 2-volume, 2-tone knobs and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays, 22 vintage frets with a solid '59 profile neck carve. The headstock has multi-ply binding with split diamond mother of pearl 35th anniversary inlays . The gold hardware is comprised of Kluson deluxe double-line single-ring tuning machines with aged tulip machine heads, a bone nut, a ABR-1 bridge, and top-hat bell knobs with a 5-ply black/white pickguard. It is well along the road to being a real vintage looked with thin nitrocellulose and some cool looking finish checking the headstock, it's the look they pay Tom Murphy & co the big bucks to replicate on brand new Gibson guitars. In addition to that the gold hardware has uniform fading all over. Everything is original. There are no breaks or repairs. Plenty of life left in the frets (never been refretted, still has nibs), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. All electrics work perfectly and it's a great player with a very easy action. It is surprisingly light at 4.2kg. Comes complete with its original pink lined Gibson hardcase with shroud, a little roadworn but all latches working. A rare one!
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
