Gibson Custom Shop Historic '56 Les Paul Reissue Ebony Yamano VOS w/ Bigsby

Up for grabs is this stunning Gibson Custom Shop 1956 (R6) Historic reissue VOS Les Paul Ebony Standard from 2004. It’s a stunning looking ’56 with a beautiful VOS Ebony finish, yellowed binding and factory fitted bigsby. It has a maple top with mahogany back and neck. It is a model we dont see very often from Gibson's Customs Shop. This one was selected by representatives to take back to Japan and comes with its Japanese documents. Feels nice and light for a bigsby equipped Standard at 4.4kg. Plays beautifully. Nice thick ‘56 profile neck. And the P-90’s on this thing are super aggressive.  Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. Absolutely no breaks or repairs. There is some nice VOS vintage-esque tarnishing to the metal hardware. It’s very clean with 3 or 4 little bumps on the body and a little bump on the neck. A little buckle wear on the back (not through the nitro). Comes with original Custom Shop Lifton HSC and original Custom Shop individual serial number certificate, Yamano booklet and other documents.
