Gibson 2006 Les Paul Standard Amber Burst Yamano Japanese Export AAA+ Top

Up for grabs here is this beautiful Yamano Ordered Gibson Les Paul Standard from 2006. This is a superb example of a Yamano, with beautiful flame and maple graining throughout the top. Yamano Music (aka Yamano Gakki) was the exclusive distributor of Gibson guitars from 1988 until around 2007. As Japan was a massive market for Gibson, Yamano had the clout to special order guitars according to their specifications for the Japanese market. This often means exceptional tops and better attention to detail, especially regarding wood selection and finishes. An internet search will yield many praising the virtues of these guitars as well as naysayers but in our experience every Yamano Gibson we've had in the shop has been an exceptional instrument. This beauty bears testament to Yamano’s ability to source these type of guitars…. Anyway this Yamano t was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant in late 2006, probably just after Gibson introduced chambering on their standards (mid 2006) so it;s nice and light at 3.6kg. It has a comfortable ’59 profile neck. It also has an exceptional top with some distinctive flame and linier grain. It’s not surprising the Yamano reps took this one back to Japan. There is still plenty of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. Nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks, repairs or mods etc. Nice and clean with no big notable dings or bumps, just light playwear. It's complete with its original Gibson HSC which is also in fine condition, with all latches and combi lock working. Also includes specific Japanese Yamano expired warranty card with serial printed on. A rare chance to get your hands on a top quality Yamano hand-selected Les Paul Standard with a really exceptional top, much better than your average Standard and representing an excellent investment opportunity.
