Fender Telecaster Fully Bound '62 Custom RI Candy Apple Red MIJ USA Pickups 2007

Beautiful Old Candy Apple Red fully bound Custom 1962 reissue Telecaster from Fender Japan (TL62B TX). This is the absolute top of the line production run Telecaster from Fender Japan.  OCAR always looks great on these guitars. It’s an MIJ T-Serial from 2007-10. It has a lightweight alder body with 3-ply cream pickguard, full cream body binding (that has already nicely yellowed), 3 spiral saddles and fender stamped B5 bridge plate. It’s from the latter MIJ period (‘Made in Japan’ on the back of the neck). It has a superb dark and dense rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25 fingerboard radius. The maple neck and headstock show some strong grain patterns. It definitely looks the part. Sonically the USA built Texas Special pickups sound amazing. Plenty of bite and twang and a great Tele action. It is structurally and electrically sound. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. The neck has been professionally taken back to a satin feel but retains the gloss on the back of the headstock. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. It's 100% original. It’s clean with no paint chips or huge dings, just playwear, some light surface scratches and the odd little dimple-sized bump here & there. Complete with gig bag. A very cool old '62 RI Fender CIJ Telecaster well along the road to being a vintage looker and it's in very condition throughout.
