Fender Telecaster '62 Vintage Reissue Bound Top TL62B-TX/MH Japan MIJ w USA Pups
Here's a beautiful 2010 Fender custom '62 Reissue Telecaster (TL62B-TX) in rare Japanese non-export Piano Black with matching headstock and top bound alder body. This is not a normal TL62B. It’s an MIJ U-Serial and was a limited edition built for the Japanese domestic market and was not sold at retail outside of Japan. It was designed to sit between a ’62 custom (TL62B) and an Aerodyne model and combines the best of both worlds in our opinion. In particular we love the matching headstock and belly carve in the body, which are both aerodyne features. You also get top of the line specs, including a great sounding set of factory installed USA Texas Special single coil pickups, a beautiful dark Indian 7.25 radius slab rosewood fingerboard, 3 spiral saddles and a Fender-Stamped bridge. The binding is nice & tight. There are no issues electrically or structuarlly. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. It is very clean with just a few light signs of playwear. We have come across a couple of these over the years and this is the cleanest by far. Comes with Fender Japan gigbag. A very rare Tele. These have now been discontinued by Fender.
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
