Here its a very scarce model from Fender Japan. It is an absolutely top of the line Old Lake Placid Blue Fender 62' RI custom Telecaster 2004-05. This is one of only three factory OLB TL62B-TX BIGS we have ever had through the doors at GSG, it’s rare finding a Bigsby equipped '62 custom in this finish. Double bound, alder body with factory fitted B-5 Bridge & Fender Bigsby. It's got huge sounding USA Texas Special pups & a cool cream-green 3-ply pickguard. It’s an old Fender Japan CIJ R-Serial from 2004-05. This is as good as it gets for Fender Japan Telecasters. It has a very dark 7.25 radius slab Indian rosewood fingerboard and the maple neck has some nice grain patterns showing through the tinted amber finish. The white body binding is starting to age into a really good looking vintage cream/yellow which looks superb against the OLB, very 1950’s! No issues electrically or structurally. Neck fine, frets fine, truss rod fine. The weight comes in at 3.9kg. Being from 2004 it is not new & not mint but it is very clean for the period, showing little of the wear we commonly see on CIJs these days. Comes with fitted Telecaster hardcase. This is an absolute beast of a Tele. Don't miss it, once it’s gone it’s gone.
