Fender Telecaster '62 Custom Reissue w/ Texas Specials 2002-04 Candy Apple Red

Fender Telecaster '62 Custom Reissue w/ Texas Specials 2002-04 Candy Apple Red

Top of the line Telecaster from Fender Japan. Candy Apple Red always looks great on these ’62 customs. Has an alder body with 3-ply mint green pickguard, full cream body binding, 3 spiral saddles and fender stamped bridge plate. It's a CIJ Q-serial, which puts the build date somewhere during 2002-04. Has a very dark and dense slab Indian rosewood fingerboard and the maple neck and headstock show some nice grain patterns. Definitely looks the part. Sonically the USA built Texas Special pickups sound amazing. Plenty of bite and twang and a great Tele action. Really resonant too when unplugged and feels great to play. Structurally and electrically sound. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Weight is 3.6kg. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications, it is all factory stock. In well worn condition with scratches, bumps and dimples etc. The meta hardware is tarnished and the binding has turned off white/yellow which always good grat on these old customs. Complete with Telecaster hardcase with key. A cool old Tokai era '62 RI Fender CIJ Telecaster Custom.
