Fender Telecaster '52 Vintage Reissue TL52-78US Butterscotch w/ USA Pickups MIJ
Up for grabs we have this beautiful looking ash-bodied 1952 reissue Fender Telecaster. It was built in Japan for the domestic Japanese market (not Mexico) so expect excellent build quality throughout. It’s an MIJ U serial from 2010 from just before Fender Japan moved over to the JD serial prefix. This one is a wonderful player & looks awesome with the superb quality lightweight natural ash-grained body. Has a great feeling one piece maple neck with a C profile carve and rolled fretboard edges. The fretboard radius is 7.25 just as is should be on a vintage '52 reissue. It still has it's factory installed Fender USA '52 Telecaster pickups, which deliver a nice tonal palette, rich and creamy at the neck position and plenty of twang and sparkle in the bridge setting. The vintage-style bridge retains the original trio of steel saddles, and the chrome plating on the control plate with the domed knurled knobs is notably clean. The body is accented by the vintage correct a one-ply matte black pickguard. Its very resonant, well balanced and feels great to play with a superb action. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks, repairs or routing. Weight is superb for an ash Tele at 3.5kg. Good clean condition as you’d expect for a 2010, with no big notable blemishes, just minor playwear. Definitely one of the cooler MIJ ‘52s we’ve had in of late. Complete with Fender branded gig bag.

We carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitar, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
