Fender Telecaster 1962 Custom Reissue Rare Translucent Red Domestic Finish 2004
Here's a beautiful Fender custom '62 Reissue Telecaster in rare non-export Translucent Old Candy Apple Red finish on fully bound alder body. These 62's are the top of the line Japanese Fender Telecasters and translucent red finishes don't come up very often. This one is from 2005 (CIJ R-Serial). There is some really nice alder grain showing through the body. The binding is nice & tight and still white. It has a 3-ply scratchplate, and a nicely grained 7.25 radius rosewood fingerboard, 3 saddles, Fender-Stamped bridge and great sounding top of the line factory installed USA Texas Special pickups. A good Tele weight at 3.4kg. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. It is nice and clean for a guitar built in 2005, with just some light playwear with a few light scuffs & no paint chips etc. It comes with its gig bag.
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select every guitar we offer, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. Please do not offer us TRADES or part exchange, thanks. We cannot always get back to your requests if you do so. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
