Fender Stratocaster 1962 Reissue FujiGen CIJ N-Serial Two Tone Sunburst

Top of the line old Fender 1962 TX Reissue Stratocaster in Three Tone Sunburst. It’s a Fender Japan CIJ N-Serial. We don’t get many N-serials with a CIJ prefix so I’m gonna estimate the build date at around the beginning of the CIJ period (late 90's) as it could be an old left over Fujigen N-serial MIJ with the CIJ prefix added when production had shifted away from FujiGen. Either way, it’s a beautiful ’62 RI Strat. It has an alder body with a great feeling maple neck, 7.25 radius maple fingerboard and superb sounding USA Texas Special pickups. The 6 x steel saddles are Fender stamped and it has traditional Strat controls including 5-way switching. All the plastics have yellowed and the metal hardware has taken on a nice dull patina over. This guitar looks awesome. Nothing bad has ever happened to it. Has the palywear you'd expect commensurate with age with some lacquer nicks and scuffs etc. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Nicely balanced with. a great action and structurally/electrically sound. No breaks or repairs. No modifications. Weight is 3.4kg. Complete with gigbag and replacement trem arm. A beautiful old '62 RI Fender Japan Strat.
