Fender Scarce Lake Placid Blue ST-XII 12 String Stratocaster MIJ 2004 w/ HSC

Here we have a scarce 2004 Fender 12 String Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue finish (ST-XII). These were originally made by Fender Japan in 1985, and had a limited reissue in 2004 (which is where this particular example is from, CIJ R-Serial). It's a very cool looking guitar, featuring a gloss Lake Placid Blue finish with matching headstock. It has an alder body with a maple neck and a slab rosewood fretboard, with a 9.5 radius. The trio of ceramic magnet Fender single coil pickups have a clean, clear sound, with more punch and top end snap than most Alnico varieties, delivering a range of classic Strat tones that give you a real 12-string chime. Structurally and electrically sound. Pretty clean overall for the age. No paint chips or anything ugly, just light to moderate playwear with a few scratches etc. Obviously no breaks, repairs or routing etc. In 100% original condition. Good weight at 3.7kg. Complete with Stratocaster hardcase with key (hardcase has a ding in the back which does not effect functionality). A very cool Strat!
