Fender Scarce 1962 RI Jazz Bass Ocean Turquoise Metallic CIJ O-Serial 1997 JB62-

Here is a rare Fender Japan 1962 Reissue Jazz Bass in factory Ocean Turquoise Green (JB62-US). OTM is a very cool finish that we don’t find often on Fender Japan Jazz basses. It is a CIJ O-Serial from the 1997-2000 period. Built to a very high standard as you’d expect from Fender Japan. Alder body, maple neck and lovely grained medium/dark rosewood fingerboard. Blues & greens are always hard to capture in pics but the shots where it looks turquoise/greener represent the true colour on this one. Neck straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life in the frets. Weight is 4kg. Structurally and electrically sound. A bit of playwear commensurate with age. Some scuffing, small bumps, finish nick on headstock and a patch of buckle wear on the back. It presents very well and looks awesome in OTM. Complete with Fender branded softcase. Like all our basses will be sent in a purpose designed hard internally padded bass shipping box.
