Fender Mustang 1973 Competition RI Old Candy Apple Red w/ Matching Headstock CIJ

Here is a really nice vintage specification '73 Reissue Fender Mustang. It’s an S-Serial CIJ (2005-06) in Old Candy Apple Red with matching headstock (much darker than Fender's usual Candy Apple Red). Vintage spec poplar body with great feeling 7.25 radius fingerboard, button tuners & F stamped neckplate. This is a beautiful example of this tough to find guitar. It has a very easy action with a great looking dark streaked rosewood fingerboard complimented by a cream 3-ply pearl pickguard. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine with plenty of life left in the frets. No breaks, repairs or routing. Structurally and electrically fine. Weight is dead on 4kg. Has just light playwear with no paint chips etc. The stock Japanese pickups have been replaced with black/white Lace Sensors. Pickguard has also been replaced as have the strap pins. Complete with vintage Japanese leatherette softcase and trem arm. Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A cool 1973 vintage specification reissue Mustang.
