Fender Mid 1980's FujiGen 1972 RI Blonde Telecaster MIJ E-Serial Humbucker Mod
Here is a scarce vintage 1980's FujiGen built ‘72 Reissue Blonde Telecaster from Fender Japan. It’s a great old MIJ E-Serial built between 1984-1987. It has a good quality lightweight Sen ash body with maple neck and 7.25 radius maple fingerboard. Really beautifully grained ash used on this one, now darkened to more butterscotch blonde and the finish has the dull glaze of nitrocellulose, although we are not sure It has had a humbucker added to the neck position which has required additional routing in the neck pickup cavity under the scratchplate (pics coming tomorrow). It is not factory routed, please bear this in mind before buying. It has 6 saddles, black single-ply pickguard, 2 string trees & ‘F’ stamped neck plate etc. The tophat switch tip has also been replaced with a Strat tip. It's nice and resonant due to the lightweight old ash and feels great to play, plenty of Tele twang and some real bite with the neck humbucker. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. A few bumps and dings around the edges, not unexpected given the age of this one. Complete with gig bag. A very cool '72 RI Fender MIJ Blonde Tele.

All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks.
