Fender Ltd Traditional 60s Jazzmaster FSR Walnut Mint w/ Hangtags, Japan MIJ

Here is a pretty exciting storeroom find! It's a very scarce, quality built 2023 Fender Japan FSR (Factory Special Run) Walnut 60’s traditional Jazzmaster. These were made in extremely limited numbers and supplied to just a handful of Japanese stores to run alongside the more common basswood dot marker traditional 60s Jazzmasters which had worldwide distribution & were made at the same time. Please note, this is also a totally different beast from the common cheaper Mexican Noventa Jazzmaster with a Pau Ferro fingerboard. This rare Jazzmaster was only available in Japan. It has beautiful Walnut finish over a quality alder body and the 9.5 radius Indian rosewood fingerboard. It was a clear nod to Elvis Costello’s legendary Jazzmaster. It features Fender USA V-Mod black bobbin pickups, as well as USA-made CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and USA Fender plastic parts. We have sold plenty of these the USA built signature models and there is no difference in quality between both. The headstock sports a Pre-CBS style "Spaghetti" Jazzmaster logo, with Kluson-style tuning machines which turn smoothly and hold pitch well. It is super resonant and feel great to play. It’s in as very clean condition. It still has the clear protective film over the scratch plate and pick up covers so any scuffs you see are just in the film. Structurally and electrically sound. No breaks or repairs. No modifications. These are now sold out.  Any specs you can see on the finish is just dust. Nice and light at 3.5kg. Complete with original Fender branded softcase, tremolo arm, tool, booklet etc.
