Fender Jazzmaster 1966 Reissue MIJ w/ Matching Headstock 2007-2010 Seafoam Green

Here's a very rare factory finished Fender Jazzmaster in Seafoam Green with matching headstock. It's an MIJ U-Serial from 2010-11. It's pretty tough to track down old MIJ/CIJ Jazzmasters in this colour, even in Japan. It looks killer with the matching headstock. It has a superb quality light resonant alder body with a nicely grained (very dark and dense) 7.25 radius rosewood for the fingerboard. The naturally tinted amber maple neck feels nice to play, very comfortable with some good grain patterns on the maple. It has its factory fitted white 3-ply pickguard. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. No breaks, repairs or routing, with all circuits working as they should and sounding great.  Weight is 3.6kg. I think the previous owner know what a rare beast they had on their hands and treasured it! No heavy scratches, paint chips or anything significant. I can just see one or two scuffs and little bumps around the bottom edge. The knobs have been replaced with metal dome knobs but everything else is original. Plays beautifully. We didn’t have to do anything by way of setting it up. It played great for us right out the box. Complete with tremolo arm and original period-correct padded Fender Japan softcase (has lost its zipper tab as usual). It also has its original Fender Japan booklet and expired Japanese shop warranty card which is great to have for added provenance as it has the original serial number of the guitar printed on. Fender Japan Jazzmasters from this period don't show up much anymore in this finish.
