Fender Japan Telecaster Custom 1960's Reissue Midnight Black Tuxedo Bound MIJ 20
Here's a beautiful 2012 Fender custom '62 Reissue Telecaster in rare Japanese non-export Midnight Black with fully bound alder body. We love this one, you get the slick 007 looks; very neat and tidy, but once you plug it in you get a really dirty and gritty sounding Tele. This is not a normal TL62B. It was a limited run built for the Japanese domestic market and was not sold at retail outside of Japan. You get all top of the line specs, including an alder body in Midnight Black with full body binding, a beautiful dark Indian 7.25 radius slab rosewood fingerboard, TL vintage pickups, 3 spiral saddles and a Fender-Stamped bridge. It is in clean condition throughout. The binding is nice & tight. There are no issues electrically or structuarlly. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. Weight is 3.6kg. There are no big ding/chips etc, just some light scuffing and playwear, nothing stands out. Comes with gigbag. A very cool Tele. These have now been discontinued by Fender.
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
