Fender Japan 'Order Made' Micawber Telecaster Natural Butterscotch '52 MIJ

£1,595.00Price

Up for grabs is this stunning vintage FujiGen ‘Order Made’ non-export butterscotch Fender '52 Reissue Telecaster Micawber. These early FujiGen white ash Micawbers are one of our favourite ever Japanese made Fenders. They were never exported from Japan. Like all these FujiGen Micawber builds, this beast was constructed from a fantastic resonant solid slab of old white ash. The maple used for the neck, headstock & fretboard is also top quality on this with some great great looking ash on the body (check out the pics!!!) It’s an absoloutly top quality built Fender, you will not find better outside the custom shop. Fender Japan didn't build too many of these, preferring to stick with the classic single coil '52 design. This particular one has ‘Order Made’ stamps inside the neck pocket. A good solid weight as most of these are at just over 4.5kg . Has the dense FujiGen white ash body and maple neck and fingerboard. It’s got its awesome sounding factory fitted Dragster in the neck and traditional TL vintage in the bridge. Plays beautifully with a nice smooth forgiving action. It is structurally and electrically fine with the maple neck is dead straight, truss rod turning and plenty of life in the frets. No mods or non-factory routing etc.  It is a quarter of a century old now so has lots of honest vintage wear. This is not a sterile Mexican guitar! The body has as bit of scuffing & bumps, the metal hardware has a uniform patina etc but one of the best conditioned examples we have found of these; it’s all great vintage Tele mojo as far as I’m concerned. Comes with period correct gig bag, and unusually the owner has kept all it's original documents including the Fender booklet, tags model cards etc. Great for investment purposes.  If you are looking for a beautifully crafted vintage mojo-laden Fender Micawber grab this one, you wont be disappointed.

At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special.  All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
