Fender Japan Order Made '1962 Reissue Manchester Utd Telecaster 10 Worldwide
Fender Japan guitars don't get much more exclusive than this. This Telecaster was one of only 10 built by Fender back in 2002 to celebrate the World Cup which was held in Japan and Korea. 10 were commissioned by Ishibashi with Yamano involved in making it happen. It's a 1962 Custom Reissue (TL62B-TX) with an Alder body, finished in rare Morocco Red (MRD) with matching headstock, black binding (yes black!) with an Indian rosewood fingerboard (7.25 radius) and great sounding factory fitted USA Texas Specials. It’s all factory correct with no mods. Nothing bad has ever happened to it with no damage, breaks or repairs. The maple neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and the frets have got years left in them. Weight is 3.8kg. Only light superficial wear, no big paint chips or anything like that. Complete with old Fender Hardcase and Yamano and Fender Japan booklets. With 10 only in existence you will probably never get another chance to hook this rare Fender Japan Tele.
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
