Fender Japan Mustang 1969 Reissue CIJ N-Serial 1993-94 Yellow White FujiGen MIJ
Up for sale here is a very cool Fender Japan '69 Reissue Mustang factory finished in Yellow/White. It’s an N-Serial CIJ which was probably built around 1993-94 at FujiGen. Although not common, the CIJ N-serials turn up fairly regularly and we think they are actually FujiGen MIJ N-serials with an early CIJ prefix from before CIJ officially kicked off at Tokai & Dyna Gakki in '96/'97. Whatever the case, there weren’t many Mustangs built during this period or even at FujiGen, most you will see will be later CIJs from the 2000's. It’s a nicely yellowed 69 RI Yellow/White. Being Fender Japan you know the fit and finish is going to be superb. It has all the good stuff inc. maple neck & nice dark Indian rosewood 7.25 radius fingerboard (no Pau Ferro here). A really nice 3-ply red tort FujiGen pickguard on this one. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. Nice weight at 3.6kg. It looks all original with no modifications that we can see. It’s much cleaner than we usually see on Mustangs from this era, just a few little bumps and scuffs, no nasty paint chips. A great looking & playing old FujiGen-era Mustang. Complete with gig bag and trem arm.
We carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of the actual guitars, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
