Fender Japan Jazzmaster 1966 Reissue MIJ JD-Serial 2012 Three Tone Sunburst
Here's a beautiful 3-tone sunburst Fender Jazzmaster 1966 reissue. It’s a MIJ JD-Serial (2012). Japanese Built not Mexican. Meticulous attention to detail, as you’d expect from Fender Japan. You wont find a better crafted Jazzmaster. It’s built to vintage ’66 specs with all the good stuff: solid alder body, maple neck, nice dark streaked Indian rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. It has it's original 3-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, which works with the warm sunburst. The rosewood fingerboard in particular is superb on this one, with some really good light/dark rosewood grain. Dead straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. No mods, breaks or repairs. Weight 3.6kg. Very clean with no dings or paint chips etc. A really nice vintage feel is beginning to creep in on this one with the plastics yellowing. Wonderful condition throughout with only very light playwear, nothing big or nasty has ever happened to it. Complete with tremolo arm, period correct gig bag and expired Japanese warranty card, very useful for provenance as it features the individual serial number of the guitar.
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
