Fender Japan Jazzmaster 1966 Reissue CIJ O-Serial 1997 Three Tone Sunburst

Here we have a stunning example of a late 1990's Fender Japan Jazzmaster in Three Tone Sunburst. It is a 1966 reissue with a quality lightweight alder body complimented by a 3-ply deep red tort pick guard. Meticulous attention to detail, as you’d expect from a Japanese built Fender. You wont find a better crafted Jazzmaster. It's built to vintage ’66 specs with all the good stuff: solid alder body, maple neck, nice dark streaked rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. Really resonant too and feels great to play. This is a great looking Jazzy. Nice maple grain all over the headstock (front & back) and neck. Also lots of great alder grain is visible underneath the sunburst body. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. Over 20 years old now and in fantastic condition overall with no big paint chips or dings, Has lovely looking naturally yellowed plastics and is well along the road to being a real vintage looker. There is a tiny lacquer nick on the top of the headstock. Complete with tremolo arm & luxury Fender branded softcase. Weight is nice and light for an alder Jazzmaster at 3.5kg. A cool old '66 RI Fender CIJ Jazzmaster. A keeper for sure.
