Fender Japan Jaguar 1966 Reissue P-Serial CIJ 1999-02 Alder Three Tone Sunburst
Great looking old Fender Jaguar '66 RI in a warm Three Tone Sunburst finish. Meticulously crafted by Fender in Japan to vintage ’66 specs. It’s a CIJ P-Serial which puts the build date from 1999-‘02. Please note this is a quality built Japanese Jag, not Mexican. It’s got all the good stuff, including a beautiful alder body, maple neck, really nice dark and dense Indian rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 neck radius. It has a great looking 3-ply factory red tort pickguard which looks to be FujiGen era, these deep red Japanese torts always looks great on a sunburst Jag. The figuring is superb on this one, both on the alder body and maple neck, please check the pictures. It’s one of the best looking MIJ Jags we’ve had in a while (and we get a lot!) Everything is working fine, plenty of life in the frets, truss rod fine, neck straight. Weight is dead on 4kg. Sounds great & plays great, nice action for a Jag too with all circuits functioning perfectly. No mods or repairs. It has some playwear as you’d expect for a late 90’s CIJ Jag. A few bumps and a little nick in the paint which look touched in, but it's only small. Some scuffing around the bottom of the guitar, that kind of stuff, a bump or two on the neck. Complete with gig-bag & tremolo arm. A quality built Fender Japan warrior.
