Fender Japan Jaguar 1966 Reissue P-Serial CIJ 1999-02 Alder Three Tone Sunburst
Cool old Fender Jaguar '66 RI in a warm Three Tone Sunburst finish. Meticulously crafted by Fender in Japan to vintage ’66 specs. It’s a CIJ P-Serial which puts the build date from 1999-‘02. Please note this is a quality built Japanese Jag, not Mexican. It’s got all the good stuff, including a beautiful alder body, maple neck, really nice dark and dense Indian rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 neck radius. It has a great looking 3-ply factory tort pickguard. Everything is working fine, plenty of life in the frets, truss rod fine, neck straight. Weight is 3.8kg. It’s had a few mods, all reversable if you wanted to bring it back to CIJ spec. The pickups are Seymor Duncan, the neck plate was switched to an engraved Fender Corona California plate and a barrel bridge has been dropped in for extra string stability. It sounds great & plays great, nice action for a Jag too with all circuits functioning perfectly. It has some playwear as you’d expect for a late 90’s CIJ Jag. A few bumps and a little nicks in the paint which look touched in, but only small. Some scuffing around the bottom of the guitar, that kind of stuff. Complete with non original gig-bag & tremolo arm. A quality built Fender Japan warrior. All pictures are of actual guitar, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
