Fender Japan Discontinued Ltd FSR Alder Body Maple Jazzmaster Traditional 60's

Here we have a beautiful (and now discontinued) 2024 Fender Japan FSR (Factory Special Run) Piano Black 60’s traditional Alder Jazzmaster with block inlays and neck binding. These stunning Jazzmasters were made in extremely limited numbers by Fender Japan to run alongside the more common basswood dot marker traditional 60s Jazzmasters made at the same time.  It has a superb quality gloss black alder body and the vintage 7.25 radius bound fingerboard is Indian rosewood (ignore any Fender spec sheets saying this model has a 9.5 radius, it doesn't). They have narrow tall frets and a 42mm bone nut, with USA made CTS pots, Switchcraft switches and USA Fender plastic parts. The headstock sports a Pre-CBS style "Spaghetti" Jazzmaster logo, with Kluson-style tuning machines which turn smoothly and hold pitch well. All the plastics are aged white and the 4-ply red tort scratchplate still has its clear protective film covering. The weight is 3.5kg. As mentioned above, only this limited special run was given the alder body, neck binding and perloid block inlays. The rest you will see will have basswood bodies, no neck binding and dot markers. Very few of these B+B FSRs were built to run alongside the main traditional 60s run of 2024, and they are long sold out in Japan. These are, well balanced, super resonant and feel great to play.  The condition is very clean with no big notable blemishes. Some stunning looking maple grain all over the headstock and neck. Complete with booklet, tools, tremolo arm and original Fender Japan soft case. No more are being built and we will not be offering them again so be quick!
