Fender Jaguar 1966 Reissue Very Rare 1997 Ocean Turquoise Metallic CIJ O-Serial
Here's a very rare factory Ocean Turquoise Green Fender Jaguar. It’s a CIJ O-Serial from 1997-2000. Fender Japan never used Sherwood Green as a production run colour on their ’66 RI Jags so this is the closest you’re gonna get to the Fruciante look. It's always tough to track down Jags in this colour, even in Japan. It has an alder body & dense dark slab of rosewood for the vintage spec 7.25 radius fingerboard. The naturally tinted amber maple neck feels very nice to play. It has its factory fitted cream 3-ply pickguard. Straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Weight is 3.9kg. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. It has been very well looked after and is in better condition than we usually find. There is just some light playwear and a couple little tiny paint nicks on the body. Complete with original trem arm and gig bag. If you’re looking for a superbly built old Fender Japan OTM green Jag with that Fruciante look then you might wanna move quickly on this one. There aren’t many around and they are not usually this clean.
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK.
