Fender Jaguar 1966 Reissue CIJ O-Serial 1997-2000 Three Tone Sunburst Alder Japa
Fender 1966 Reissue Jaguar in beautiful warm three tone sunburst. Meticulously crafted in Japan to vintage ’66 specs as you'd expect. It’s a CIJ O-Serial which puts the build date at 1997-2000. This is a really pretty Jag. It has very defined cool looking alder grain visible under the sunburst on the front and back. It’s got all the good stuff: alder body, maple neck & wonderful looking dark rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. Still has original 3-ply tortoiseshell pickguard which works with the warm sunburst. Everything working fine, plenty of life in the frets, truss rod turning, neck straight. Weight is 3.7. Has some playwear as you’d expect for a 90’s Fender Japan Jag 90’s, these were amazing offsets and they got played! That said, it’s not bad at all, the odd small paint chip but is one of the cleaner examples of a 90’s Jag we’ve found. The neck plate has been swapped over with an FCGR plate which we see quite often on the Japanese Jags. It’s also had a barrel bridge dropped in. Sounds great & plays great, nice action for a Jag with all circuits functioning perfectly. Complete with gig-bag and tremolo arm. No mods or repairs. A quality built Japanese beauty.

We carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of the actual guitars, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
