Fender Jaguar 1966 Reissue CIJ O-Serial 1997-2000 Three Tone Sunburst Alder
Fender 1966 Reissue Jaguar in beautiful warm three tone sunburst. Meticulously crafted in Japan to vintage ’66 specs as you'd expect. It’s a CIJ O-Serial which puts the build date at 1997-2000. This is a really pretty Jag. It has very defined cool looking alder grain visible under the sunburst on the front and back. It’s got all the good stuff: alder body, maple neck & wonderful looking dark rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. Still has original 3-ply red tortoiseshell pickguard which works with the warm sunburst. Everything working fine, plenty of life in the frets, truss rod turning, neck straight. Weight is 3.7. It’s actually really clean for a 90’s CIJ jag with none of the heavy playwear you usually find on these. The only obvious blemish is a little paint chip on the front which can be seen in the pics. Otherwise it is one of the cleaner examples of a 90’s Jag. Sounds great & plays great, nice action for a Jag with all circuits functioning perfectly. Complete with gig-bag and correct tremolo arm. No mods or repairs. A quality built Japanese beauty.
We carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitar, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
