Fender Competition Mustang Bass '69 Vintage Reissue MB-SD/CO Ocean Turquoise, Ja

£1,595.00Price

Fender Japan Mustang Bass, it’s not Mexican. Pure short-scaled goodness here, it's one of the coolest basses Fender have ever built in our opinion. It is a CIJ S-Serial from the 2005-2006 period. It has the excellent fit & finish you’d expect from Fender Japan & all the good stuff including an alder body, nice dark streaked rosewood fingerboard, maple neck, white 3-ply perloid pickguard, Duncan designed MB Pups & Vintage White (almost yellow) competition stripes. Neck straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life in the frets & no mods. Super light for an alder Mustang Bass 3.6kg. Some nice maple grain on the amber tinted neck and headstock. Structurally and electrically sound, no issues whatsoever. Good clean condition for the year. No paint chips etc. A few worn in scratches and some surface scuffing on the back. A really nice example of this rare bass. Complete with original period correct Fender Japan bass bag. A scarce one.

At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’s gonna be pretty special.  All pictures are of the actual guitars, we do not use stock photos. All guitars have been fully checked and are with us in hand, so it’s straight from us to you! NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
