Fender AJB Aerodyne Jazz Bass Dolphin Grey MIJ Non-Export 2004 M/H

£1,065.00Price

Here is a rare Japanese Fender non-export Dolphin Grey Aerodyne Jazz Bass. These are great basses. Fender only made them this finish the Japanese domestic market so they don’t show up too much outside Japan. This one is a CIJ-R serial MIJ from the 2004-2005 period. It is a Standard (long) scale. Like all AJB’s it features a beautiful carved top & bound body. It has a DG matching headstock offset with white body binding & 3 ply pickguard. It’s all factory spec with a rosewood fingerboard. It has had absolutely no breaks, repairs or mods. Neck is dead straight, plenty of life in the frets, truss rod fine. Weight is good at 4.5kg. Has some light playwear with a little dimple on the top, the kind you can only see when angling towards light, but overall pretty clean with no big paint chips etc. Like all our basses this will come shipped in sturdy padded purpose designed bass box. Complete with original Fender branded bass bag, tool and all docs including hang tag, original expired Japanese shop warranty (good for provenance as it has the original serial number printed on it) and Fender Japan booklet.
