Fender 1966 Reissue Alder Jazzmaster Reissue Blocks & Binding MIJ Three Tone Sun
Up for grabs is a very rare Fender Jazzmaster. It’s one of only a handful early Alder-bodied Jazzmasters from Fender Japan with block inlays & neck binding. It’s a beautiful looking guitar with three-tone sunburst over lightweight alder body and red tort pickguard. It looks awesome. Really resonant too and feels great to play. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. Weight is 3.7kg. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. It's had the neck taken back to satin with the gloss removed. The serial which would have been at the base of the neck was also removed but rest assured this is a genuine Fender Japan Jazzmaster. We have included shots of the neck and body cavity stamps above. Without the serial we cannot date it accurately but believe it is from the 2010-12 period based on the many other MIJ B+B Jazzmasters we have sold in the past. It has some light wear so please don’t expect sterile & mint. It’s almost impossible to pick up the old alder MIJ Fender Jags & Jazzmasters with blocks & binding. An awesome Jazzmaster and great investment. Complete with trem arm & gig bag.
At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitars, all guitars are in hand and we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship worldwide to the USA, E.U, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and of course the UK
