Epiphone Rare Vintage 1998 Japanese Les Paul Custom Ebony Open Book Headstock Fu
Up for grabs is this stunning Japanese Epiphone Ebony Les Paul Custom from 1998 built at the renowned FujiGen plant. It’s a real vintage beauty in very clean condition throughout. Not to be confused with the cheap mass-produced Korean/Chinese/whatever Epiphones you see in pretty much every guitar store across the UK. This was built to a very high standard in Japan at FujiGen Gakki. It has the Japanese Gibson open book headstock, long neck tenon and a comfortable ‘59 profile neck. The pickps sound great on this one. It weighs a very decent non-chambered 4.1kg. No issues structurally or electrically. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. All original right down to the HSC. No breaks or repairs etc. It’s one of the cleanest Japanese Epiphones we have had from the 90’s. There are a couple of paint nicks on the back of the neck behind the 3rd fret and some small dimples in the paint around the edges at the bottom & some minor wear around the headstock edge but that’s it. A rare 1990’s Japanese open book Epi Custom. Comes with original Epiphone Japan hard case. You won’t find many cleaner Japanese Epi customs. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
