Early 1990 Fender FujiGen Stratocaster 1962 Reissue MIJ H-Serial Olympic White
Vintage Fender 1962 Reissue Stratocaster in stunning vintage Olympic White. It’s an early Fender Japan Stratocaster finished on 23rd March 1990 at the legendary FujiGen plant (3/23/’90 pencilled on neck heel).
This is exactly the same model/year as the first Oly white Strat Kurt played on tour with L7 back in 1990. He played this model with on & off with Nirvana from around 1990 -’92 (they became his disposable strats). Anyway it’s in great condition for a 30+-year old guitar. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, still plenty of life left in the frets. Very resonant alder body with a dark and dense slab rosewood fingerboard (7.25 radius). Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications. Some playwear but just bumps and nicks, no big paint chips etc. It has a great genuine vintage vibe with all the plastic yellowing and the metal hardware taking on a dull patina all over. All the good gentle aging with none of the nasty stuff. Complete with tremolo arm & gig-bag. A very cool old ’62 RI Strat. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the U.S, Canada, Australia, Europe and of course the UK.
