Beautiful 1999 Fender Japan Three Tone Sunburst Jazzmaster 1966 Reissue CIJ w/ U
Beautiful old Fender Jazzmaster '66 reissue in a warm three-tone sunburst. Meticulously crafted by Fender in Japan to vintage ’66 specs. It’s a CIJ P-Serial which puts the build date from 1999-2002. All the good stuff. Alder body, maple neck, nice Indian rosewood fingerboard and 7.25 neck radius. It has an anodized gold pickguard, which always looks great on an MIJ sunburst Jazzmaster. Pickups have been upgraded from the stock Japanese pickups and it’s had a graph tech bridge dropped in. All awesome upgrades to put this on par with any U.S. made Jazzmaster, with arguably better build quality from the Japanese. Anyway, everything is working fine, plenty of life in the frets, truss rod turning, neck straight. Sounds great & plays superb, nice action for a Jazzmaster and all circuits functioning perfectly. No damage or repairs. It’s very clean for an almost 20-year old Jazzmaster. Just light scuffing and a few minor bumps, nothing nasty or ugly. Looks great and really picking up a nice gentle aged feel with all the white plastics naturally yellowing. Complete with trem-arm & gig bag. Why anyone would choose a sterile Mexican Jazzmaster over an old beauty like this I will never understand. A quality built Fender Japan beauty. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
